Naruto The Last
The Last: Naruto The Movie
is the seventh Naruto Shippuden film, tenth overall, which was released in Japan late 2014 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Naruto. The first part of the Start of a New Era Project, and the first film to be a canon entry in the Naruto story, The Last is set between chapters 699 and 700 of the manga. Masashi Kishimoto provided the story concept, character designs, and had had complete editorial power over the movie.

This film is one of the best in the series, and a must for any and every Naruto fan out there. Set two years after the Fourth Shinobi World War. A comfortable peace has fallen over the village and the winter festival approaches with a bit more excitement than usual. Seasons of war have transformed Naruto and his friends into elite young warriors, but now they grow into the adults they were meant to be, forming bonds beyond friendship.

Naruto The Last
Naruto and Hinata approach this next stage with trepidation and find their progress stalled when a mysterious and dangerous man appears with a disturbing message; the end of the world is upon them. Once again Naruto and his friends are sent to investigate and stop the impossible: a falling moon! What is the tragic fate that connects this disaster with Hinata's Hyuga Clan? And to what lengths will Naruto go to speak the words that will change his life?

The Last: Naruto The Movie is out now on Blu-ray and DVD, so it’s a great time to find out which team from Naruto everyone prefers. Which of the Konoha teams do you wish to be a member of? Vote below, and let us know why on Twitter and Facebook.

TEAM 7
Team KakashiAlso known as Team Kakashi, features the titular character Naruto, alongside Kakashi Hatake and Sakura Haruno. The team has had both Sasuke Uchiha and Sai as members, and Yamato on occasion.

TEAM GUY
Team GaiRock Lee, Neji Hyuuga, and Tenten make up Team Guy, with Might Guy as leader. Formed one year prior to the other main teams, and specialising in close-quarters combat, Guy waited a year to enter them in the Chuunin Exams alongside the other main teams. In the Rock Lee spin-off anime, and one episode of Naruto Shippuden, this team was referred to as Team Three, though it is unknown if this is canon.

TEAM 8
Team 8Also known as Team Kurenai, this team, led by Kurenai Yuuhi, is made up of Kiba Inuzuka, Akamaru, Hinata Hyuuga, and Shina Aburame. This team specialises in tracking and locating, through multiple methods; Hinata’s Byakugan, Shino’s bugs, and Kiba’s dogs, alongside his own heightened sense of smell. Kakashi has led this team on occasion, in the place of a pregnant Kurehai Yuuhi.

TEAM 10
Team 10Team 10 is the most prevalent generation of the Ino-Shika-Chou Trio in the Naruto series. Led by Asuma Sarutobi, the team consists of Chouji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara, and Ino Yamanaka. Sakura herself has commented on Team 7 having the best teamwork with Team 10.

TEAM EBISU
Team EbisuFormed during the timeskip, this genin team consists of Konohamaru Sarutobi, Udon, and Moegi, with Ebisu as leader. Prior to Ebisu becoming leader, the group, led by Konohamaru, was known as the Konohamaru Army Corps.

TAKA
HebiTaka, while not a Konoha team, features Konoha ninja Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke created the team with Karin, Juugo, and Suigetsu Houzuki. Initially named Hebi, the team was renamed when their goal switched from locating Itachi to crushing the village of Konoha. Although the team started merely as one of necessity, respect was developed between the members as time went on.

TEAM KONOHAMARU
Team KonohamaruThis team appears in Boruto The Movie, and is led by Konohamaru Sarutobi. It is made up of Boruto Uzumaki, Mitsuki, and Sarada Uchiha. We haven’t seen this team do much yet, aside from a couple easy missions and taking part in a Chuunin Exam, but with the Boruto manga starting later this year, this team should fast become a favourite.

Ninja Scroll

Andrew Osmond on one of anime’s holy trinity
Ninja Scroll is crammed with memorable images, set-pieces and characters. Like many of the best international anime hits, the contents of Ninja Scroll are foreign yet familiar.
