News – Dragon Ball Heroes anime on the way!?

The first leaks (via YonkouProductions) from the latest edition of V-Jump magazine have revealed that the popular Japanese card/arcade game, Dragon Ball Heroes, will be receiving a promotional anime adaptation.

Dragon Ball Heroes, first released in Japan in 2010, allows fans to see their favourite characters take on forms and foes they never have in the main series.

It would seem that two of the game’s recent arcs, Universe Survival and Prison Planet will be adapted into an promotional anime. The first episode will be screened in Japan on July 1st, there’s currently no news on a way for fans outside of Japan to watch it at the moment.
