Dragon Ball Super: Broly breaks £1M box office

BROLY HITS A MILLION!

Manga Entertainment are very proud to announce that fan-favourite Dragon Ball Super: Broly has now earned more than £1 million at the UK box office, making it one of only two anime films in UK history to achieve this milestone.

With an official cume gross to date of £1,004,853, Broly is the UK’s second highest grossing anime film of all time behind Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away. It opened as a limited two-day theatrical event on January 23rd, and since then has enjoyed extensive holdovers across the UK and Ireland.Dragon Ball Super: Broly

“What an incredible milestone for us and the franchise to hit,” says Andrew Hewson, Marketing Manager. “Huge thanks again to the team here at Manga but also you, the fans, who went out and watched it over and over again. Your love and support puts Broly in the history books as the UK’s second biggest anime film of all time!”

Dragon Ball Super: Broly is still showing in select UK cinemas, with details available at brolysback.co.uk. The film will also be coming to DVD, Blu-ray and Limited Edition SteelBook on May 27 – all three available to pre-order now.
