At Manga Entertainment, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and website visitors. In particular, we want you to know that Manga Entertainment is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
When you purchase a product through the Manga UK webshop – ShopManga – your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our system for the sole purpose of shipping your order and contacting you in the unlikely event of any issues. All of our payments are made through PayPal and are taken at the time of ordering, so we do not access or store any of your payment information. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
To protect your information, any personal data taken to process your order will be deleted from our system within 90 days of order dispatch.
By making a purchase from our site, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with the terms laid out in this policy.
As part of the registration process for our email updates, we collect personal information. We use that information to tell you about our upcoming releases, any special deals we have going on and news about our business – nothing else! We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter – the Mangazette – and the occasional news update, release reminder or announcement. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our emails. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe from our emails at absolutely any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of anything you receive from us or by getting in touch with us via our contact form.
When someone visits www.mangauk.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
When you get in touch with us via our contact form, we only take your name and email address so we can get back to you – that’s it! We don’t share or archive any of that data.
The data we collect is accessible only by us, our web management company Neon10, and webshop fulfilment company MVM – and only for the reasons set out above.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Just email your request to our team via the contact form on our site!
