The Cannon Busters animated TV show is heading to Netflix!

Manga Entertainment is proud to announce its involvement in producing the upcoming Cannon Busters animated TV series.

Cannon Busters

The show, now greenlit for a 12 episode first season on Netflix, is helmed by Creator, Executive Producer & Director LeSean Thomas and brings together scripts from talented animation writers including Natasha Allegri (creator of Bee & Puppycat) Anne Toole (Emmy nominated writer of “The Witcher” video game), Nilah Magruder (writer of the award winning M.F.K. web comic), and more.

Produced by Manga Entertainment, Nada Holdings and Netflix, Cannon Busters will be brought to life by Satelight Inc., the animation studios behind shows such as Macross Delta and Basquash!

Cannon Busters is an animated adventure story about the value of friendship and just how far one is willing to go to maintain it. “Think The Wizard of Oz meets Hidden Fortress with a dash of Escaflowne + Hip Hop and classic RPGS — all rolled into one ride of fun, suspense, action & wackiness,” says Creator and Director of the Cannon Busters animated project, LeSean Thomas.
