Why you should watch One Piece Stampede on the big screen!

YonkouProductions shares why you need to see One Piece Stampede on the big screen!

One Piece: Stampede is the culmination of 20 years of epic One Piece adventures. Since the manga’s launch in 1997, it has spawned massive media projects including the anime in 1999 and a flurry of movies which have been released over the years — with more projects like the One Piece live action film currently in the works.

But no other One Piece film to date compares to Stampede in both its sheer scale and direct correlation with the lore of the series.

Pirates from across the entire One Piece world come together to join a pirate festival and hunt down a treasure left behind by the late King of the Pirates, Gold Roger. A phenomenally large cast comes into play, and Douglas Bullet, a former crewmember of the Roger pirates, also makes an appearance as the primary antagonist.

For fans, One Piece: Stampede is a testament to the sheer scale and magnificence of the world created by Eiichiro Oda. Within that world reside countless characters with whom we can identify, resonate and grow alongside in the journey of life. For the unacquainted, it will undoubtedly (and understandably) be a zany experience, but I highly recommend checking out this film on the big screen if only to experience what One Piece is really all about.

If you’re a fan who wants to know more and finally see what the hype has been about you definitely should check out One Piece: Stampede in cinemas, as there’s truly no other experience quite like it! The staff at Toei Animation, including director Takashi Otsuka and creator Eiichiro Oda, have knocked it out of the park both in terms of story and animation – with some of my favourite animated scenes of the entire franchise within this film.

So what are you waiting for? Check out One Piece: Stampede in cinemas on February 2nd 2020 and book your tickets now for the ultimate One Piece experience!
